I am back

Such beautiful roses.  I got to arrange 250 of them!  Wow!

I am back…I hope. (I hope I will be better about posting.) If you follow me on Facebook you know that I have been busy. I spent much of my creative energy since May on planning and arranging  all the flowers for my friend Ellyson’s wedding. It was a wonderful, exciting, terrifying, and exhausting experience. I learned a lot. I worked very hard for a few days. Now I am recovered (though my apartment is still a disaster area) and wondering what’s next. It is almost September which seems always like the new beginings time. I am going to concentrate on making my living space more livable and cleaning my studio so it can be used. Brickbottom Open Studios is only a few months away and I don’t want to do my usual last minute panic cleaning etc. for that so that will be a priority.

We have not seen much of the grandchildren on the cape this summer but we will be going down next weekend.   Yay! I am excited to be working on a little project for Elizabeth. I gave my daughter a blank book of my own design and fabrication for Christmas. Elizabeth wants one too.  I may be able to get it done this week. I will be trying to anyway. I include some pages with my art on them and some gelli plate backgrounds. I will post some pictures.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
